Debbie K. Johnson, age 58, of Paducah, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018, 9:56 p.m., at Lourdes Hospital.
Debbie was a member of Christ Temple Apostolic Church and a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. She was formerly employed as a graphic designer with the Paducah Sun newspaper.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, James T. Johnson, Sr. of Paducah; four sons, James T. Johnson, Jr. of Springhill, TN, Korrie Laverne Jones, Jermaine Jones and Michael T. Brown, all of Paducah; two daughters, Helen Marie Phill of Lavergne, TN and Jamesha Hughes of Mayfield; fifteen grandchildren; eight brothers, Samuel N. Jones, Jr. of Washington, DC, Leon J. Morris, Decatur, IL, Frederick E. Jones, Ronnie F. Jones, Troy E. Jones, and Michael S. Jones, all of Paducah, Reverend Wendell Ray Jones of Cincinnati, OH and Reverend Ricky R. Jones of Bowling Green, KY; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Nathan Jones, Sr. and Dorothy Wheeler Jones and two brothers.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, May 18, 2018, 12:00 noon, at Christ Temple Apostolic Church with Reverend Anthony Walton officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may also call on the family at the church on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
