Deloris Orr, 78, of Paducah, KY, passed away at 10:00 pm on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at her residence.
Deloris was a homemaker, and later worked as a cook on a towboat for many years. She was very proud of her family, and enjoyed cooking for them, as well as fishing and playing video games with her grandchildren. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Tonya Rittenberry and husband Buddy, of West Paducah, KY, Yolanda Nance of Lexington, KY; one son, Roger Nance of West Paducah, KY; six grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas and Lorene Henderson Hawks; one son, Jack Bishop; two sisters and two brothers.
A private graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Cedar Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Don Garrison officiating. Burial will follow.
There will be no public visitation.
