Doris Hicks, 92, of West Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 9:45 a.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Life Care Center of La Center.
Mrs. Hicks was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hicks is survived by two daughters, Debbie Riley and husband Earl of West Paducah, Cindy Ross and husband Eddie of Paducah; three sons, Jimmy Hicks of Murray, Scott Hicks and wife Gena of West Paducah, Tim Hicks of Fairview, Tennessee; eleven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; brother, Jerry Elkins of Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Daniel Hicks; one sister, four half sisters and four brothers. Her parents were William Rowston Elkins and Gracie Ebye Hurt Elkins.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Larry Davidson and Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Wadesboro Cemetery in Hardin, Kentucky.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2018 at the funeral home.
