Edward Russell Johnson

Mr. Edward Russell Johnson, age 70 of Paducah, KY died on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Stonecreek Nursing and Rehab. He was a veteran of the US Navy and past member of the American Legion Post 397.



Born Thursday, March 25, 1948 in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Edward Emil Johnson and the late Shirley (Horner) Johnson.



Surviving are his wife, Beth (Parmley) Johnson of Paducah, KY, sons, Robert Johnson of Benton, KY, Edward Johnson of Paducah, KY, Shawn David Johnson of MI, , Russell Lee Johnson of Huntsville, AL, Louis Johnson of Crowne Point, IN, Aaron Johnson of Linton, IN, step-children, Mike Russell of Portland, TN, Melissa Sue Dixon of Bowling Green, KY, half brother, Steve Johnson of OK, sister, Candy Johnston of Tucson, AZ, several grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.



He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Holly Johnson.



A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Bobby Lady officiating.



Interment will follow in KY Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, KY.



Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m until the funeral hour on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
