Effie Stewart Smith, 92, of Paducah, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston, Mo.
She is survived by sons, Bobby G. Smith and wife JoAnn, Harve W. Smith and wife Celia, Steven A. Smith and wife Beverly all of Paducah, John V. Smith and wife Cindy of North Carolina; and daughter, Sheila R. Smith of Paducah; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Clellie McKnight Stewart; husband Harve Webster Smith; sons, Roger Dale Smith and Dennis Wayne Smith; a sister, Marie Mitchell; and a brother, Earby K. Stewart.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Rev Wayne Carter will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home.
