Helen Louise Jones, 88, of Paducah, KY passed away at 9:29 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at her residence. She was retired from Blackhawk Bakery and Claussner Hosiery Mill. Helen attended Hardmoney Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Marcia Jones Gleeson and husband, Bobby of Paducah, KY; son, Darrell C. Jones and wife, Sherry of Paducah, KY; grandchildren, Heather Jones Rushing and husband, Brandon of Paducah, KY, Jessica Jones Nanney and husband, Ben of Bells, TN, Katherine Gleeson Sadler and husband, Kyle of Paducah, KY, Lauren Gleeson Holland and husband, Joseph of Melber, KY; great grandchildren, Dixie Cissell, Curk Holland, Raelee Holland, Carley Rushing and Makenzie Wallace, and several nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy F. Jones and two brothers. Her parents were James Curtis Thompson and Effie Mae Dunaway Thompson.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2013 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Mr. Riley Nelson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hardmoney Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
