James Timothy “Tim” Cooper, 49, of West Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 1:04 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Lourdes Hospital. He was a Quality Control Technician with Fluor Services. Tim enjoyed fishing and had won several Catfish Tournaments. He enjoyed hunting and all shooting sports and was a former shooting coach for 4-H. He was of the Methodist Faith and was a former member of the West McCracken Fire Department.
Tim is survived by his wife, Tracy Burnett Cooper; mother, Judith Ann Peeler Cooper of Kevil, Kentucky; daughters, Katherine Elizabeth Cooper of Paducah, Kentucky and Kristen Danielle Cooper of West Paducah, Kentucky; son, Phillip David Cooper of Dandridge, Tennessee; brother, Michael Lynn Cooper of Kevil, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Colton Reid Cooper of Cape Girardeau, Rylee Jade Hayden of West Paducah, Kentucky and Jacob Christopher Stevens of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Reid Cooper.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah with Dr. Roger L. Penn officiating. Burial will follow in the New Sand Hill Cemetery in Graves County, Kentucky.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. unitl 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah.
