Janetta Faye Meeks, 72, of Wellston, OK died Friday April 24, 2015 at the home of her son in Kevil, KY. Before moving to Oklahoma, Janetta and her husband had been residents of the Heath community. Janetta was a homemaker who enjoyed snow-birding in Arizona and traveling through out the southwest. She loved making jewelry and painting. She attended Pentecostal Holiness Church in McLoud, OK.
Janetta is survived by her son, Kenneth W. Meeks and wife Sherri of Kevil, KY; brother, Shelby Martin and wife Katie of Oxford, GA; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Kenneth Bruce Meeks; son, Gerald Meeks; and brother, Bobby Joe Martin. Her parents were Mack and Alta Martin.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, April 28th at 2:00 pm at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Mr. Chuck Jordan officiating. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 am and continue til service time on Tuesday. Burial will be at a later date at the Moore Cemetery in Moore, OK.
