Joey Fosko, 46, of Paducah, KY passed away at 12:02 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY. Joey was a Sports Writer and had 26 years of service for the Paducah Sun Newspaper. Joey received the Writer’s Choice Award for 2013. He was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church, Graduate of Lone Oak High School and attended West Kentucky Community and Technical College.
Joey is survived by his parents, Joseph “Joe” B. Fosko and Janice “Jan” Garrett Fosko of Paducah, KY; brother, Mike Fosko of Symsonia, KY and one very special niece, Hunter Fosko.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Jamie Broome officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
