John P. Osborne

John P. Osborne, age 87, of Paducah passed away at 7:39 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Baptist Health Paducah.  He was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.  John was a retired meteorologist having worked for National Weather Service.  He was a veteran of U.S. Air Force and served during the Korean War.  He was a Shriner and a Mason.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Rupayne Kendall Osborne; three daughters, Linda Osborne of Denver, Colorado, Cheryl Zoltac of Spokane, Washington and Mary Tenbrink of Wichita, Kansas; one son, Paul Osborne of Wichita, Kansas; one step-daughter, Caryn Watkins of Paducah; one step-son, Mark Watkins of Paducah; seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Millard & Ethel Horn Osborne; one son John Paul Osborne, Jr.; two sisters and three brothers.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Folsomdale, Kentucky with Rev. Jenna Goggins officiating.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
