Joyce Marie Kelly Hooks, 75, of Paducah, died Saturday morning, April 30th, 2016 at Baptist Health of Paducah.
Joyce was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who always put her family at the center of her life. She was also a member of St. Frances de Sales Catholic Church of Paducah.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 56 years, Larry; four children, Christopher Kelly Hooks of Houston, TX., Caroline Marie (Charles Scott) Hooks Bratton of Katy, TX., Deborah Anne (David Mark) Hooks Krakoski of Spring, TX., and Douglas Alan (Elizabeth Masse) Hooks of Austin, TX.; eight grandchildren, Charles Jacob Bratton, Audrey Marie Elizabeth Bratton, Christopher Blake Hooks, Emma Caroline Krakoski, Claire Elizabeth Krakoski, Riley Elizabeth Hooks, Morgan Grace Hooks, and Jesse Lynn Hooks; and her mother, Dorothy Marie Gilbert Carter.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Frederick Kelly; one son, Timothy Lee Hooks; one brother, William Gary Kelly; and stepfather, Charles W. Carter.
A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Frances de Sales Catholic Church in Paducah, Ky. On Wednesday, May 4th, 2016 starting at 11am with Father Bruce McCarty officiating. A private family burial will take place later at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Paducah, Ky.
