Kay was born on May 16, 1957 in Paducah to George and Dorothy Vance Housman. She was a member of Twin Lakes Worship Center. Kay retired from the Pediatric Group after 20 years as a nurse. She was an avid UK fan and loved scrapbooking and going on scrapbooking trips. Kay loved to camp, go boating and fishing with her husband. Kay’s most favorite title was MawMaw to Gracie and Gabbie. She was their biggest fan! Whether it was a ball game, horse show, school or church program, she never missed anything they were involved in.

Kay is survived by her husband of 42 years, Gene Wallace; two daughters, Calena “Tootie” Peeler and husband, Chris, of Paducah, Casandra Vaughn and husband, Brandon, of Paducah; one step-daughter, Jeana Haynes; two granddaughters, Gracie and Gabbie Peeler of Paducah; her mother, Dorothy Vance Housman and three step-granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Housman and her sister, Linda Housman.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Bro. Jeremy Short and Bro. Gary Cruse officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Mt. Pisgah cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
