Linda Lou Rickman Hurt, age 82, of Benton passed away on January 27, 2020 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Linda was born in Marshall County on December 27, 1937 to the late Morgan and Myrtle Angle Rickman. She was a factory worker at Cracker Jack in Chicago and Florsheim Shoe Factory. Linda was a fantastic cook, avid reader and loved beautiful flowers, especially March flowers. She loved her family and enjoyed babysitting. She was very outgoing and never met a stranger. Linda was a member of Union Hill Church of Christ where she loved her church family.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Wilson Hurt of Benton; two sons, Steve Hurt and Randall Hurt, both of Hardin; one sister, Jackie Rainey, husband, Gerald of Benton; three brothers, Ronnie Rickman, wife, Anna of Benton, Donald Rickman, wife, Patricia of Benton, and Sam Rickman, wife Pam of Lillian, AL; one granddaughter, Kayla Hurt Witbrodt, husband, Kevin of Cordova, TN; two special granddaughters, Kayle Sanders and Michaela Manley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Liddie McAlister and her husband Virgil McAlister.
A funeral service for Linda will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr with Bro. Josh Herndon officiating. Burial will follow at Edwards Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. service time on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner & Orr.
