Martha Jane Tapscott, 66, of Paducah, passed away at 6:05 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Lourdes Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
Mrs. Tapscott is survived by her husband, Shelton Melton Tapscott; two sons, Michael Shelton Tapscott of Paducah and David Wayne Tapscott and wife Nikki of Paducah; five grandchildren, Payton Tapscott, Cameron Tapscott, Brooklyn Tapscott, Olivia Tapscott and Allie Tapscott; one sister, Betty Thomas of Paducah; two brothers, Larry Clark of Paducah and James Paul Clark of Tennessee and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Lynn Tapscott; four sisters and four brothers. Her parents were, Harry Dewie Clark Sr. and Knoxie Ashley Clark.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. J. Patrick Reynolds officiating. Entombment will follow in Maplewlawn Park Cemetery.
The Tapscott family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time of 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
