Mary Lou Hogancamp, 88, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away peacefully with her children by her side at 9:59 p.m. on Monday, February 11, 2019 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Mercy Health Lourdes.
She was born on October 22, 1930 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to the late Carley and Alta Newby Heath.
She was a homemaker until her kids started school then worked to obtain her Real Estate Brokers License. She was the founder of Hogancamp Real Estate in Bardwell, KY and worked several years in the Paducah area. Mary Lou was an excellent seamstress, accomplished piano player and spent many hours working jigsaw puzzles. Her love for Christ was evident in every aspect of her life. Mom was a prayer warrior and that legacy was passed down to her children. She was unselfish always putting others needs above her own. She loved her church family, especially Bro. Gary and Sister Joyce.
She is survived by her son, Larry (Kim) Hogancamp of Mayfield; two daughters, Nancy Hogancamp (Todd Johnson) of Paducah, Donna (Paul) Cromika of Clinton; four sisters, Becky, Sharon, JoAnn and Helen; four brothers, Richard, David, Tim and Ralph; five grandchildren, Ross Hogancamp, Landon Cromika, Kate Jewell, Brentley Adams and Ellie Adams; one great grandchild, Grey Jewell and granddog, Lucy.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Warren Hogancamp; her parents; son, Jonnie Hogancamp; two sisters, Norma and Pat; and two brothers, Buster and John.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Gary DeRossett officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Bardwell, Kentucky.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
