Matthew Taylor Cartwright, 29, of Paducah died at 3:02 p.m. Thursday at Western Baptist Hospital.

He was employed at National Maintenance & Repair of Paducah. He attended Faith Center of Paducah.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Cartwright; two sons, Merritt Land and Murphey Cartwright; one daughter, Janey Ruth Cartwright; his parents, Susan and Scott Jones; one brother; Isaac May; maternal grandmother, Virginia Hill; paternal grandfather, Jimmy Hill, all of Paducah, and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Cartwright; grandfather, Boyce Hyde; and grandmother, Charlotte Jean Hill.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Topper Council officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery of Paducah.

Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
