Mr. Michael Wayne "Mike" Whitley, age 61 of Benton, KY passed away Friday, October 21, 2016, his home.
Born Friday, September 30, 1955 in Marshall Co., KY, he was the son of the late William Whitley and the late Betty (Smith) Whitley. He was a member of the Southside Baptist Church, Paducah, KY.
Surviving are his wife, Marlene (Newcomb) Whitley of Benton, KY, one son, Michael Shawn (Denice) Whitley of Paducah, KY, daughters, Jessica (Trey) Whitley of Hopkinsville, KY and Amanda (John) Beck of Symsonia, KY, and fourteen grandchildren.
Mr. Whitley was preceded in death by his parents, by three brothers, Ricky Whitley, Terry Whitley, Roger Whitley and one grandson, Bryden.
Funeral services will be Sunday, October 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Bro. Chris Young will officiate. Interment will follow the service in the Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
