Nancy Whitaker Bottoms

Nancy Whitaker Bottoms, 80, of Paducah, died Sunday, June 16, 2013 at 10:43 pm at Life Care of LaCenter. She worked in the retail carpet industry and retired from Paducah Service Company.  Nancy is survived by her daughter, Susan Kay Diesel and husband Steve of Dallas, TX; her sons, Mike Bottoms and wife Lucy of Rowlett, TX and Joe Bottoms and wife Amy of Cape Girardeau, MO; her sister, Ruth Whitaker of Denver, CO; three grandchildren, Gabe Halicks, Allen Whitaker and Matthew Bottoms; and three great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Lucille Partin Whitaker; one sister, one brother and one granddaughter.  She was a certified Master Gardener, past president of the Yeiser Art Center, an exhibiting member of the Kentucky Guild Of Artists & Craftsmen and a member of the Poets Of Western Rivers.  Services are scheduled for Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
