Phyllis Ann Walker, 77, of Paducah, KY, formerly of Boaz, KY, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 11:48 am at Parkview Nursing & Rehab.
Patsy, as she was known, was born in Paducah, KY on June 17, 1936 to Charles and Jessie Thompson. She participated in the Rainbow Girls and was a longtime member of the Eastern Star. She was part owner and operator of Small World Day Care. She attended Houser Grove Church Of Christ and Victory Assembly Worship Center. Patsy was a spiritual person who will be remembered for her love of children and enjoyment of life.
Patsy was survived by her daughter, Susie Walker and Michael Hett, of Paducah, KY; her sons, Bob L. Walker and wife, Carol, of Graves County, KY, Joey Mason Walker, of Paducah, KY, Allie Mason Walker and wife Mary, of Louisville, KY; her brother, Jerry Thompson and wife Lana, of Boaz, KY; her brothers in law, Chuck, of Peoria, IL and Gary, of Golconda, IL; her sister in law, Margie, of Peoria, IL; her grandchildren; her great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, James Ray “Junior” Walker, her parents, Charles B. Thompson and Jessie Gladys Lewis Thompson and one sister.
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 12:00 noon at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Houser Grove Cemetery. Rev. Gary DeRossett will officiate.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 21, 2014 from 2:00-5:00 pm at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
