Ray Hardesty, 69, of Paducah, formerly of Diamond Lake IL,  passed away at 8:00 am on Thursday, September, 25, 2014 at his residence.

He was a retired machinist, a member of First Christian Church of Vienna, and a member of VFW post 1191 in Paducah.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Cheryl (Ryan) Hardesty; two sons, Raymond P. Hardesty and wife Jeri of McHenry IL, Robert E. Hardesty and wife Wendy of Richmond, IL; two sisters, Kay Risner, of Crawfordsville, IN, Sue Price, of Waynetown, IN; two grandchildren, Charles T. Hardesty, Gabriella C. Hardesty; and several nieces and nephews.  

He was preceded in death by two brothers John W. Hardesty, Robert Joe Hardesty, and his parents John Edward Hardesty, and Margaret E. White Anderson.

Funeral services for Ray will be 1:00 pm Monday, September, 29, 2014 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home, with Rev. Les Chamberlain officiating.  Visitation for Ray will be from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm September, 29, 2014 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
