Suzan Reneé Harrington, age 62, of Benton, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Baptist Health of Paducah.
Reneé was born in Paducah on October 15, 1957. She was a member of Pathway Baptist Church in Calvert City as well as Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #184 and Machinists Union Local #1720. She was an active member of the Pathway Awana Program and loved saving the lost by bringing them to church. She never met a stranger and was always available when needed. Reneé especially loved helping kids from all walks of life by taking them to church. In the words of her family, “she was a faithful Christian with an open door to anyone she could help.” Reneé is also remembered as having an infectious smile and was never too busy and always available to those in need.
Reneé is survived by her husband, Robert Harrington of Benton; father, Charles R. Baker; two daughters, Jennifer Heady of Calvert City and Hope Winstead of Omaha, Nebraska; three sons, Ryan Winstead and wife, Trina of Paducah, Chris Harrington and wife, Deshae of Calvert City, and Jason Harrington and wife, Ashley of Memphis, Tennessee; one brother, Rodney Baker and wife, Kathy of West Paducah; one brother-in-law, John Townsend of Flatwoods, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Gavin Heady, Grace Heady, Jayce Puckett, AJ Ragan, Riley Winstead, Nolan Winstead, Esther Winstead and Cecilia Harrington.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Threatt Baker and her sister, Charlene Townsend.
Funeral services for Reneé will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Pastor Mike Donald officiating. Burial will follow at Calvert City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
