Richard “Dick” Rich, 81. of Paducah, KY died Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 8:15 a.m. at Superior Care Home. He was a member of Lone Oak United Methodist Church and a retired Insurance agent for Western Rivers Insurance. He was a member of Paducah Lions Club and volunteered at Lourdes Hospital.
Survivors include one son, Steven Rich of Paducah, KY; one daughter, Stephanie Fenton of Athens, AL; four grandchildren, Sean Caleb Fenton, Scott Clayton Fenton, Stephen Alexander Rich and Ashley Elise Rich, step-mother, Eunice Rich, Monroe, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Lynn Marple Rich, parents, John William Rich Sr. & Beulah Fleming Rich, and one brother.
Services will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Cavitt officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour Friday at Lone Oak United Methodist Church.
Expression of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Lone Oak United Methodist Church Choir Fund, 3835 Old U.S. 45 South, Paducah, KY 42003.
