Robbie L. Smith, 76, of Paducah, KY, passed away at 10:26 am Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was retired from Bell South after 33 years of employment.
Robbie was born in Mayfield, KY on October 20, 1938 to Robert and Louise Shelton. She was a longtime member of Paducah First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, whom she was happily married to for 59 years, Walter J. Smith, of Paducah, KY; her daughters, Jen Smith and Rhonda Garcia, both of Paducah, KY; her sons, Frankie Smith of Dickson, TN and Dewey Smith and his wife Cindy, of St. Louis, MO; her grandchildren, Chris Smith, Austin Smith, Zach Smith, Alex Lambert and Ashley Lambert; her great grandchildren, Reed Martin Smith and Sawyer Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Shelton and Louise Wade Shelton and her twin sister, Bobbie Clapp.
A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Rev. Tommy Tucker will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm Friday, April 17, 2015 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, KY.
