Robert M. Jarboe, 87, a life-long resident of Paducah, died on Sunday April 13, 2014 at Lourdes Hospital.
Surviving are two son, Stephen (Dawn) Jarboe of Paducah, Donald (Loretta) Jarboe of Symsonia; six grandchildren, Kimberley Bell of Paducah, John (Kathy) Jarboe, Tonya(Curtis) King of Symsonia, Alicia Jarboe of Symsonia, Erick Jarboe of West Paducah, Laikin Simons of Lexington; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Frances Toothman Jarboe; and his wife of 56 years, Marie Litchfield Jarboe; five sisters; and three brothers.
Friends may call from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday April 15, 2014 at Lindsey Funeral Home. Prayers will be at 7:00pm at the funeral home.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon on Wednesday April 16, 2014 at St. Frances DeSales Catholic Church with the Rev. Brian Roby officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
