Virginia Reed, 97, of Paducah passed away at 8:52 pm on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Southgate Health Care Center.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Wright and husband Frank of St. Louis, MO; son, Randy Reed and wife, Nancy of Paducah; one brother, Alec Harrington of Palma, KY; four grandchildren, Jonathan Wright, Brandon Wright, Andrew Wright, Jennifer Hogancamp; and several nieces and nephews.
Virginia was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Vaughn Lee Reed; seven brothers, Curtis Harrington, Herman Harrington, Donald Harrington, Bill Harrington, Bob Harrington, Jack Harrington, and Minor Harrington Jr. Her parents were Minor Gregory Harrington and Margaret Mitchell Harrington.
In accordance with Virginia’s wishes, no public services will be held.
The family extends a special thanks to Southgate Health Care Center for Virginia’s care for the last three years.
