William Allen (Jr) Freeman, 91, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 11:30 p.m. Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Lourdes Hospital. He was retired Produce Manager for A & P Grocery Store for 40 years. William was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church. He proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Army stationed in the Philippines. William enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Phoebe Ludlow Freeman; daughters, Janice Carroll of Paducah, Kentucky and Karen Edwards and husband Mike of Paducah, Kentucky; sons, David Freeman and wife Michele of Paducah, Kentucky and Ronnie Freeman and wife Renee of Paducah, Kentucky; step-daughters, Mary Alice Canon and husband Ron of Knoxville, Tennessee and Pattie Hurd and husband Mike of Rogersville, Tennessee; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and nephew, Dr. Roger Freeman and wife Georgia of Paducah, Kentucky.
William was preceded in death by his brother, Joe T. Freeman. His parents were Will Allen Freeman and Nancy Jane Cunningham Freeman.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Jim Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
