Lora Eubanks-Story of Smithland passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020 at her residence at the age of 55.

Lora is survived by her parents, Jim Eubanks and Velvie Eubanks of Smithland both of Smithland; her significant other of 15 years, Leo White of Smithland; her two children, Janie Smith and husband, Joe of Smithland and Pete Travis and his fiancé, Amanda Frick of Eddyville; seven grandchildren, Taylor Brown of Smithland, Morgan Shell of Smithland, Wesley Shell of Paducah, Trip Smith of Smithland, J.D. Smith of Crittenden County, Clay Travis of Eddyville, Brooklyn Martin of Smithland; one great-granddaughter, Harper Morris of Smithland; one sister, Karen Jones of Smithland; one brother, James Dean (J.D.) Eubanks of Paducah; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lora loved her family dearly, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, camping, and traveling before her failing health left her home bound.

A memorial service will be at 2:00pm on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Lee S. Jones Convention Center in Eddyville, KY.
