Name: Lofton, Mary

Mary Louise Lofton, 95, of Paducah, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

Mary was born August 5, 1924 in Little Cypress, Kentucky to the late Joseph and Nonnie Story Perry.  She was of the Methodist faith.  Mary worked at Claussner’s for many years. 

She is survived by one daughter, Julia Ann Lofton of Atlanta, Georgia; one son, Perry Eugene Lofton and wife, Mary Annet, of Benton; one brother, William Thomas “Bill” Perry and wife, Donna, of Calvert City; five grandchildren, Nicole Lofton, Jonathan Lofton- Smith, Jennifer Rice, Jeremy Miller, Valerie Kennedy; two sisters-in-law, Glenda Gough and husband, Don, Letha Jean Perry; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Eugene Lofton; one sister, Evelyn Ford; three brothers, Donald Lee Perry, John Davis Perry, Everett Perry, and her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Pastor Sherry Golightly officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
