For the past 24 years, the Higdon family in Paducah, has been growing its passion for waterfowl hunting. Mark Higdon used that passion starting in 1994 to create the first motion decoy for goose hunters. Alongside his two oldest sons and their families, they continue to grow Higdon Outdoors into one of the leading waterfowl companies in the world.

If you're a hunter, or just interested in how some people do business in the hunting industry, visit the links below. The first linked video was made by DU when they visited Paducah earlier this year. The second link takes viewers thru the past 14 years with the Higdon family where you can watch and learn how family, hard work and dedication helped them turn tragedy into triumph.

Ducks Unlimited Inc. launched Higdon Outdoors as a corporate sponsor in January 2016 with an agreement for Higdon to design, manufacture and sell DU officially licensed products, with a portion of each item sold benefitting DU's wetlands and waterfowl conservation efforts across North America.

"We remain excited about Higdon Outdoors in the corporate partner family of Ducks Unlimited," says Jeremy Smith, DU's director of corporate relations. "It's great to have such strong corporate support from companies dedicated to making quality products, giving outstanding customer service and recognizing the importance of wetlands conservation."

"There's a profound sense of pride and appreciation in our partnership with Ducks Unlimited," said John Higdon, president of Higdon Outdoors. "We have worked strenuously to bring the best quality decoys and accessories to today's waterfowler in a sport we are passionate about. It's only natural that we feel extremely privileged and excited to work closely with an organization that strives to preserve the future of wetlands conservation and our rich hunting heritage."
