Five Kentucky Wildcats and one Louisville Cardinal are on the list of early NBA entries, released Tuesday. A new NCAA rule this year allows underclassmen more time and information in making their draft decisions.

The Wildcats’ Tyler Ulis, Jamal Murray, Skal Labissiere, Isaiah Briscoe and Marcus Lee are on the NBA’s official list, as is Louisville’s Chinanu Onuaku.

Under the new rule, players who do not hire an agent can participate in the NBA combine and work out for teams to get more concrete feedback on their draft status, then still return to school up to 10 days after the combine (May 25 this year).

Briscoe, Lee and Onuaku have not hired agents. Neither Briscoe nor Lee is currently projected to be picked at all and Onuaku is widely regarded as a second-round selection.
