The Panthers surely remember what perhaps was the low point in their program's history felt like.
A 72-0 loss was every bit as bad as it sounded. The Panthers had two first downs to Louisville's 20, finished the game with exactly zero rushing yards and only 27 yards of total offense — 23 of those coming on two plays.
Louisville (2-1) visits FIU (1-2) on Saturday afternoon. The Cardinals are coming in after a 23-21 loss at Virginia last weekend, and coach Bobby Petrino says he likes the way his team has responded in practice to the defeat.
That probably means Louisville won't be overlooking FIU, no matter how one-sided things were a year ago.
