Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reported on Tuesday that the Sacramento Kings were probing Calipari's interest in taking over the team's front office and being the head coach.
Calipari took to Twitter on Tuesday to quickly and emphatically deny that he was leaving Kentucky.
“For the 100th time, I have the best basketball coaching position in the world. I am not looking for any other coaching position.”
Calipari, who coached the New Jersey Nets from 1996-99, has been linked to several NBA jobs over the years, including for the Cleveland Cavaliers job last summer before it ultimately went to David Blatt.
