The Paducah Chiefs used a five-run 5th inning to beat Dubois County 8-4 Tuesday night at Brooks Stadium.
Lofton Pigg led the Chiefs at the plate with a double and 2 RBI. Alan Roden was 1-for-1 with 1 RBI. Carson Shacklett was 1-for-4 with 1 RBI.
Dubois County was led by Austin Duffy, who finished 2-for-4.
Sawyer Smallwood picked up the win for Paducah. He gave up no runs on 3 hits with 5 strikeouts.
Andrew Schimmoler took the loss for Dubois County. He lasted just one inning, giving up 5 runs on 2 hits with 1 strikeout. Only one of the runs was earned.
The Chiefs (6-2) are home Wednesday against Henderson, then won't be back to Brooks Stadium until June 19 to face Fulton.
