Grayson Taylor scored from third on a ground out in the top of the ninth inning, giving the Paducah Chiefs a 3-2 win over the Fulton Railroaders Thursday night at Lohaus Field.

Taylor led the Chiefs (7-3) at the plate, going 3-for-4. Pierce Mitchum finished 2-for-4 and John Michael Russ was 1-for-3 with 1 RBI.

The Railroaders were led by Luke McKenzie, who finished 3-for-4. Chance Fuss was 1-for-3 with 1 RBI.

Palmer Campbell picked up the win for Paducah. He pitched 2 and 1/3 innings, giving up 0 runs on 1 hit with 3 strikeouts.

Ben Kowalski took the loss. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits with 3 strikeouts.

The Chiefs play Madisonville at Elmer Kelly Stadium Friday. First pitch is set for 7:00 pm.
