An early lead helped the Dubois County Bombers defeat the Paducah Chiefs, 16-2 on Tuesday. Dubois County scored on a walk by Tobe Whitten, a walk by Trevor Ricker, a walk by Cooper Trinkle, a walk by Ben Wilcoxson, a sacrifice fly by Nick Gonzales, and a home run by Evan Aders in the second inning.

Ryan Luckett pitched the Bombers to victory. He lasted six innings, allowing five hits and two runs while striking out four. Kevin Davis and Sam Mudd entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Jacob Laws took the loss for the Chiefs. He surrendered eight runs on two hits over one and two-thirds innings, striking out one.

Dubois County smacked two home runs on the day. Aders went deep in the second inning, and Whitten had a long ball in the seventh inning. The Bombers collected nine hits on the day. Whitten, Ricker, and Chase Andrews all collected multiple hits for Dubois County. 

Whitten went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Dubois County in hits, while John Mitchum led Paducah with two hits in four at bats.
