Wednesday's game against the Paducah Chiefs was a heartbreaker for the Henderson Flash, as they lost the lead late in a 12-7 defeat. 

The game was tied at seven with Paducah Chiefs batting in the top of the seventh when Tyler Hubbard doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

The Flash collected 12 hits and the Chiefs had 11 in the high-scoring affair.

In the first inning, Henderson got their offense started when Aiden McMahan singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run. Paducah scored six runs in the fifth inning. The Chiefs's big inning was driven by a walk by Kyle Antos, a single by Kevin Brenning, and a grand slam home run by Clayton Stephens.

Isaiah Glidden was credited with the victory for the Chiefs. He went four innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out five and walking zero. Logan Bowen threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Kelly Jones took the loss for the Flash. He allowed five hits and four runs over one inning, striking out one and walking none. 

Caleb Reinhardt started the game for Paducah. He allowed eight hits and six runs over four innings, striking out four and walking one. Cam Wiley started the game for Henderson. He surrendered two runs on two hits over four and a third innings, striking out four.

Henderson tallied two home runs on the day. Nolan Fertig put one out in the fourth inning. Jacob Mulcahy had a dinger in the third inning. The Flash saw the ball well today, racking up 12 hits in the game. Drew Behling, Fertig, McMahan, and Aaron Euler all managed multiple hits. Behling led Henderson with three hits in three at bats.

Paducah totaled 11 hits in the game. Brenning, Peyton Sockwell, and Reid Pope each racked up multiple hits for the Chiefs. Brenning went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Paducah in hits.
