One of the premier shooters in the 2017 class is headed to Louisville.

Four-star forward Jordan Nwora committed to Rick Pitino and the Cardinals on Wednesday. The 6-foot-7 forward from New York visited Louisville over the weekend.

Nwora, who is prepping at Saxton's River (VT) Vermont Academy this season, chose Louisville over California, Marquette, North Carolina State, Texas Tech, Utah and USC, among others.

On the Nike EYBL Circuit this summer, Nwora was one of the top players on a loaded New York Rens team. He averaged 14.6 points and 6.1 rebounds per game, while shooting 45 percent from the field and nearly 40 percent from beyond the arc.

Nwora is the third four-star prospect to commit to Louisville from the class of 2017. He joins big man Malik Williams and point guard Darius Perry to form a strong trio.
