Following in the footsteps of Peyton Siva and Russ Smith, Louisville freshman point guard Quentin Snider has fit right in since being thrust into the starting lineup.

Although Snider admits to having a case of jitters before the opening tip against Syracuse in his first career start last month, he finished with 13 points, was 3 of 9 on 3-pointers, snared three rebounds, and had four assists with zero turnovers in 38 minutes.

Louisville lost the game in the Carrier Dome but found its new point guard.

Snider was tabbed to start after Chris Jones was suspended and then dismissed from the team in February.
