The annual event, Racer Mania gives fans of all ages a first look at the Racer men's and women's basketball teams. Doors to the CFSB Center open at 6:45 p.m. and admission is free. The fun starts at 7 p.m.
MSU's Spirit Groups, the Racer Band, and Dunker will perform and fans can purchase season tickets during the evening.
Racer Mania features introductions of both teams and a scrimmage. Fans will also be able to get autographs from the Racer student-athletes on the official 2014-15 schedule posters. A 3-point contest will also take place.
The MSU promotions team will be on hand with plenty of chances for fan interaction, prizes and there will be a raffle of some Racer history.
Children age 12 and under will also have the chance to join the Junior Racers club. Membership is $10 for the first child and $5 for each additional child in the household.
The season is just around the corner as the men's team plays an exhibition game at the CFSB Center (Nov. 6) against Freed-Hardeman at 7 p.m. The regular season opener is a double-header (Nov. 14) when the women's team hosts Ohio at 5 p.m. and the men's team takes on Houston at 7 p.m.
