Another Murray State basketball player is leaving the program. Junior forward AJ Patty is transferring to Division II Minnesota State.

A 6-9 forward from Westchester, IL, Patty played in just 18 games last season at Murray State, averaging 1.7 points and 1.3 rebounds in 5 minutes per game. He came to Murray from Vincennes Junior College, where he averaged 12.9 points and 7.6 rebounds on a team that made it to the national semifinals.

Earlier this year, freshman point guard Chad Culbreath announced he was transferring to John A. Logan Community College. Last Friday, MSU announced that Kedrick Flomo would not be medically cleared to play, ending his career.
