Belfry (14-1) scored on touchdown runs of 58, 64 and 47 yards and scored 31 unanswered points to win its fourth consecutive state championship.
Wellman finished with two touchdowns and Cameron Carton had 106 rushing yards as Belfry powered its run-only offense to 407 yards. Taveon Hunter ran for 92 yards and two scores.
Central quarterback James Simpson threw three interceptions, including a 10-yard pick-6 to Devin Varney. Simpson finished 18 of 36 for 270 yards and led the Yellow Jackets (9-6) out of a 38-7 deficit with 24 points in the fourth quarter.
Belfry also returned a late onside kick 46 yards for a touchdown.
Ukruri Baker caught seven passes for 187 yards for Central, which has met Belfry six times since the 3A final in 2007.
