The Graves County High School varsity football Eagles will host Owensboro at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23. A special feature of the game will be a "Pink Out" to raise awareness and money in the fight against breast cancer.

Starting at 6:30 p.m., ticket-holders can take a selfie photo with a Tennessee Titans cheerleader for a $10 donation to Book For Hope Inc. One of those Titans cheerleaders is former Miss Tennessee Kiara Young.

A halftime balloon release is planned. Participants may purchase pink balloons for $5 each in honor or in memory of a loved one who has battled cancer. Pink glow sticks are $2. Pink Out tee-shirts are $15.

Pink Out is an event held each October at high school football games throughout America. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Jennifer Gish, mother of football Eagle Brennan Culp, has organized the event and proceeds will go to Book For Hope Inc.
