Four local high school football players will represent the state in an upcoming bowl game.

The 2017 Border Bowl Game pits some of the best players from Kentucky against some of the best from Tennessee. This year's game will be Jan. 21 at Sevier County High School in Sevierville, TN.

Marshall County's Cameron Thurman, Mayfield's Kincer Arnett, Hopkinsville's Donterius Parker and Trigg County's D'Avian Phillips will play on the Kentucky squad. Christian County's Steve Lovelance and Hopkinsville's Marc Clark will help coach the Kentucky kids.
