The race is part of the Kentucky Outdoor Adventure Games taking place during October.
The Race to the Canal is actually several races of different lengths based on age and experience. The races range from 4 miles or less for children up to 36 miles. Each race has a different starting point with the finish line at Grand Rivers.
“It is a great race during the fall to view all of the fall colors of the Land Between the Lakes,” said race coordinator Justin Harrison. “We’re glad this competition is part of the Kentucky Outdoor Adventure Games.”

The online registration deadline is October 15. Entry fees are $5 for children, $25 for online and $35 for on-site.
