Paducah’s Rick Cochran III has repeated as Kentucky Open golf champion. Cochran shot a final round 67 Thursday and finished at 12-under. He beat former Murray State golfer Jared Wolfe (68) by four shots and Robert Damron (65) by six shots.

Former Murray State golfer Hunter Ford (71) finished in ninth place. Another former Racer, Cameron Carrico, (72) finished in 16th place. Current Murray State golfer Matthew Zakutney (79) finished in 23rd place overall and ninth among the amateurs in the field.

Cochran takes home $10,000 for winning the 54-hole tournament that features amateurs and professionals. He's the first repeat winner since J.B. Holmes did it in 2003 and 2004.
