The Misaligned Minds Bicycle Tour is set to leave from Noble Park at 8 am on Saturday, Sept. 30. Packet pick-up and registration is on Friday the 29th at BikeWorld, 809 Joe Clifton Dr. from 10 am until 7 pm or the morning of the event on site at Noble Park (shelters 16 and 19) at 7 am.

For twenty eight years it's been a favorite of casual cyclists who love the countryside and highly competitive riders trying for a personal record.

There are many reasons to be part of this year's tour. Five routes ranging from 10 to 100 miles take riders along a river overlook, or barns packed with drying hay, fields of wildflowers or small farms, to rest areas stocked with home baked cookies, refreshments and cold drinks. It's a beautiful, well-organized ride. That's not just us bragging-it was named by Bicycling magazine as one of the best one day centuries in the country.

If you register by September 14th, you're not only guaranteed a souvenir tee shirt, you get an early entry discount.

Named by Bicycling Magazine as "one of the best one-day bicycle tours in the country," this flat scenic bike tour through the beautiful countryside of Western Kentucky features four well-marked routes (10, 25, 40, 65, 100 miles). Each route is SAG-supported with well-supplied rest stops featuring delicious "home baked" treats, refreshments and toilet facilities.

Proceeds from the bike tour will be shared by CRCC’s bicycle advocacy and safety initiatives and the Paducah Symphony Orchestra.

After the ride, enjoy Paducah's 23rd annual Barbecue on the River in downtown Paducah. Martha Emmons, BikeWorld co-owner says, "It's not enough to put the romance of a bicycle tour on your bucket list. Experience the dream."
