Robinson, Butler Advance at State Am

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY - April Butler and Emma Robinson advanced Tuesday to the round of 16 with wins in the first round of match play at the Kentucky Women’s State Amateur golf tournament at Elizabethtown Country Club.
Butler, a Paducah Tilghman alum, defeated Shannon Bishop of Glasgow 3 and 2 while Robinson, a Lone Oak alum, beat McKinzie Price of Somerset 1-up. St. Mary graduate Morgan Bucher was beaten 5 and 3 by Brianne Coe, who will be a junior at Russell County High School.
Robinson will play Kate Larimore today with Butler taking on Beverly Games.
