Cochran 3rd After Two Rounds in Montreal

SAINTE-JULIE, QUEBEC, CANADA - Paducah's Russ Cochran slipped to a tie for third place after the second day of play at the Champions Tour's Montreal Championship.
Bob Tway took the second-day lead after firing a seven-under par 65 Saturday, putting him one shot ahead of second-place Mark Calcavecchia.
Cochran shot a one-under par 71 and is knotted at minus-7 for the tournament with Jay Don Blake, Hale Irwin and Michael Allen.
Cochran held the first-day lead after a 6-under 66 on Friday. He'll try for his fourth Champions Tour win on Sunday. Tway has never won a Champions Tour event, but had eight victories on the PGA Tour. Hale Irwin is looking to pad his all-time leading career total of 45 wins on the Champions Tour.
