The Metropolis Police Department says they responded to 12th and Metropolis Streets to a reported vehicle collision with a parked car. Traffic on the US 60 Cumberland River Bridge at Smithland in Livingston County was halted briefly on Monday due to a barge hit. Gasoline prices crept back below two dollars per gallon across more of western Kentucky and middle Tennessee, but a summer surge should still be expected.
