A crew will be starting along Interstate 24 near the Ohio River Bridge in McCracken County and working eastward. This crew will also mow along US 60 in western McCracken County to the Ballard County Line, KY 1954/John Puryear Drive, and US 68 in McCracken County.

A contract mowing crew will also be working along the Purchase Parkway this week.

From time to time operators have to maneuver their equipment along and across travel lanes as they go about their work. This requires extra diligence by both equipment operators and motorists to maintain safety.

State highway crews are also mowing along a number of US Highways and rural secondary highways in counties across the region. Motorists should slow down and use extra caution anytime they encounter mowing crews.
